Why Smart-Screening ?
Stock screener and stock provider information are widely use and developed in the USA but other countries such as Europe and especially the emerging market are left behind.
We found really difficult to obtain research information about companies on emerging market mostly because of the language and poor information provided by the local stock exchange.
Most of the website are designed and provide information mainly on the US stock market which is the biggest exchange in the world in terms of transactions and exchange however emerging markets are gaining shares every day against the US stock market.
Today things are changing very rapidely and emerging markets are starting to be very attractive for abroad investor. The most famous example of course would be China where hundred of thousands of investor have massively arrived in the market.
What make us different from other stock-screener provider ?
We are mainly focused on emerging markets and getting started with South Korean’s stock market which we believe is one of the most attractive at the time.
Warren Buffet himself already invested 100 millions of his personal money in 2004 and considers South Korea to be very attractive, safe and the most important thing probably: this market is undervalued.
Most of the companies trading on the Korea Stock Exchange are trading at very low multiple of valuations. Our screen shows up to 500 listed companies trading at P/E of less than 10.
